Taste of Brazil was born from a dream of bringing the authentic flavors of Brazilian cuisine to the local community in Virginia. For over 6 years, I’ve been working as a pastry chef, specializing in gourmet desserts, savory snacks, and traditional treats that bring a little taste of home to those far away.

I’ve always envisioned opening a place where people could not only purchase their favorite treats but also sit down, relax, and enjoy a dessert or savory snack in a cozy environment. This opportunity presented itself when I met a fellow Brazilian who was selling a long-standing Brazilian grocery store, operating for 9 years in the heart of town. I knew this was the chance to make my dream a reality and offer a complete experience for anyone who misses a bit of Brazil.
Today, at Taste of Brazil, we offer a variety of baked goods, fresh bread, homemade cakes, and traditional desserts, along with a welcoming space where you can chat, and enjoy the best of Brazilian culture. We also provide a curated selection of Brazilian products, helping you keep a connection with the flavors and ingredients you love.
